As a community service organization, we believe in giving back to the community. Proceeds from the event will be channeled back into the community through our various service projects. Our efforts include providing free eye exams and eye glasses to those in need, as well as supporting Backpack Buddies, a program aimed at combating hunger among children by providing food packs to take home on weekends. This year, we will also be making financial donations to The South Carolina School for the Blind, Miracle Hill Ministries, Upstate Stand Down for Veterans, and the Spartanburg Soup Kitchen..

The Sparkle City Rhythm & Ribs Festival was born out of the need to raise money to give back to the community. As a club chartered in May 2011, we have discovered that the need for community assistance is greater than we ever imagined.
