As a community service organization, we believe in giving back to the community. Proceeds from the event will be channeled back into the community through our various service projects. Our efforts include providing free eye exams and eye glasses to those in need, as well as supporting Backpack Buddies, a program aimed at combating hunger among children by providing food packs to take home on weekends. This year, we will also be making financial donations to The South Carolina School for the Blind, Miracle Hill Ministries, Upstate Stand Down for Veterans, and the Spartanburg Soup Kitchen..
At Spartanburg Southside Lions, we are passionate about making the Sparkle City Rhythm & Ribs Festival the best event it can be. We sincerely appreciate your support over the years and look forward to seeing you again this year. We invite you to share our website and this event with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
The Sparkle City Rhythm & Ribs Festival was born out of the need to raise money to give back to the community. As a club chartered in May 2011, we have discovered that the need for community assistance is greater than we ever imagined.
At the Spartanburg Southside Lions Club, we are committed to serving our community without personal or financial gain. Lions Club International is the largest service organization in the world, with 1.35 million members serving in over 45,000 clubs across 210 countries. We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving our communities, with a focus on eradicating preventable blindness and providing financial assistance to those in need. Our motto is "WE SERVE," and we strive to make a positive impact in the world every day.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our cause. We hope to see you at the Sparkle City Rhythm & Ribs Festival this year!
